DYSE Visit Edinburgh
Published on November 15, 2021
With the annual trip sadly cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the team took an extended visit this year. It was not only a great opportunity to let the hair down following the end DYSE Year 4 but to also exploit the engineering heritage of the city.
Highlights included:
* Jonny Yusuf’s walking tour of old town Edinburgh exploring historic and contemporary architecture.
* A trip to see the three long span bridges crossing the forth estuary led by Ed Dablin drawing from his experiences on working on the two road briges.
* Bowling, ping pong and pool.
* Plenty of local delicacies from haggis to deep fried mars bars
