Graduate Structural Engineer 2024 Intake

Applications are now being accepted for our graduate intake 2024. We are looking for 1-2 aspiring structural engineers to join our team.

We offer a unique opportunity to work on both buildings and bridge structures of varying forms and material. To excel your Initial Professional Development, you will be enrolled on our 2 year Graduate Development Program. This will enable you to be quickly integrated into the team and become a creative, well-rounded engineer. The program also provides a fantastic grounding for becoming professionally qualified with either the IStructE or the ICE.

You will work alongside a mentor as well as directly with senior members of the team.

We are acutely aware of our environmental responsibilities and have a pro-active Sustainability Forum which is developing and critiquing our approach to talking the climate emergency.

Senior Civil Engineer (6+ years experience)

We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Grade E2) to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in the design and detailing of drainage schemes in and around buildings (Private drainage, S104 works, S106 works)

• Have experience in the design and detailing of external works and highways schemes (S38 works, S278 works).

• Have experience in FRAs and surface water drainage strategies.

• Have good working knowledge of the design and implementation of SuDS including infiltration and attenuation.

• Be professional qualified with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

• Be competent in the use of MicroDrainage or similar software.

• Be competent in the use of Civils3D or similar software.

Working alongside our structural engineering teams, you will strategize, scheme and develop the spaces in and around buildings and infrastructure to provide sustainable and attractive drainage, highways and external works projects. You will need to be a confident communicator, and self motivated. The role will require you to manage the civils aspects of projects, as well as develop relationships with new clients and collaborators. You will also be expected to take a pro-active role in the development of junior engineers and technicians through mentoring.
