Structural Engineer

To help us grow our team, we are currently looking for a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years post graduate consultancy experience, and a 2:1 or higher Masters level degree (MEng or MSc) in Structural Engineering.

You will work in a multi-niche practice with your core work undertaking engineering activities to contribute to project delivery of buildings, bridges, civils and temporary works structures.  You will have developed engineering knowledge that allows you to work unsupervised. You will interface with clients and collaborators and be pro-active in your own professional development and be working towards professional qualification with either ICE or IStructE.
Skills and Abilities
  1. Ability and willingness to communicate using a variety of media and forms including sketching, electronic, visual, aural and written.
  2. Proficient in IT and use of office software. Proven ability in the use of engineering software and ability to quickly learn the use of new software.
  3. Well organised and can manage own time.
  4. Able to coordinate the activities of engineers and technicians.
  5. Share knowledge with other team members.
  6. Able to maintain and build on client and collaborator relationships.
  7. Contributes positively to the office environment.

Civil and Structural Engineering Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3)

To help us grow our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Civil and Structural Engineering Technician Apprentice to join us. Our apprenticeship will comprise of on the job learning with day release at a local college, after which you will be eligible to become a professionally qualified Civil Engineering Technician.

Working under the guidance of a Senior BIM Technician, you will work on the design and detailing of structures large and small, temporary and permanent and of varying structural forms. You will primarily work within our team of engineers and technicians producing technical drawings and BIM models and with architects and other design professionals to assist in the design and management of construction projects.
