This project seeks to undertake a full house refurbishment and extension to a 1960s home on a mature plot on the edge of the peak district. The existing building features a carefully selected palette of materials including hand made bricks, feature concrete lintels and copper cladding. The building features interesting details such as bespoke rainwater catch pits, vaulted ceilings and cantilevered projections.

DYSE initially undertook a full structural survey of the existing house which identified that the house was in relatively good condition for its age. Structural design was then undertaken on the alterations to the existing structure as well as the additions, which include two copper clad chimneys and a glazed extension. Work on site commenced in May 2019.
